Research is discovering that drinking coffee – in moderation – can offer some positive health benefits.
A Harvard Study from the Archives of Internal Medicine notes that women who drink 2-3 cups of coffee a day have a 15% lower risk for depression. Similarly, a 2010 study published in the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease claims that the risk for developing Parkinson’s disease can be cut by as much as 25% just by drinking a few cups of coffee a day. Employee productivity could also improve, according to a new study in the Journal of Experimental Psychology which finds that the caffeine in coffee can help employees spot grammar errors and proof read better.
